The Cellers Melis winery was founded by Javier López in 1999. The wines created in these wineries are made from grapes harvested from hot and infertile soils in Priorat.
As an example, we we find the red wine Melis, a wine that is made from grapes from the "Les Solanes" farm, which is located in Torroja de Priorat, a grape that is harvested by hand that has a long and slow fermentation process, its Aging is 18 months in first and second year French oak Burgundy barrels.
The result is a dark and dense wine of great intensity that has an aroma of ripe black fruits that has a warm and firm silky texture in the mouth.
