Description
Pernod Ricard is the brand responsible for Malibu, a liqueur made from natural coconut extract based on the original rum of Barbados.
Malibu at its inception was originally elaborated with fruit liqueurs that were flavored with rum and coconut curacao and normally used for more simple to the development of the pina coladas, but when the product obtained is more demand manufacturing moved to Barbados where the quality of the ingredients used for processing was improved.
A liquor more viscous than the original rum can be taken alone, with ice or milk, however which is most often used is mixed with soft drinks or fruit drinks cola.
