Mongozo beer is a brand of Belgian origin which is made from the fruits of palm, a recipe that originated from the ancestors of the Chokwe people. In 1998 its founders, Jan Fleurkens and Henrique Kabia, joined forces and decided to market a different beer made with palm kernel.
After many years of development, in 2014 Mongozo could bring to market the Mongozo Buckwheat White, a white beer made from buckwheat, malt, rice, hops, orange peel and herbs where coriander is included. An innovative beer made from organic ingredients, gluten free and fair trade.
A beer that presents a clear color compact head which has a fresh aroma and fruity with herbal notes on the palate emphasizes that soft hop flavor that ends with the slightly sour aftertaste.
