Description
Cointreau is a French triple sec liqueur made from orange peels. Its origin dates back to 1875 when the year Edouard Cointreau, son of one of the owners of the company, prepared a distillate based orange peels bitter and sweet, giving as a result the triple sec.
Its preparation is based on a triple distillation copper stills, hence its name.
Its blend different flavor essences of orange peel, fresh, sweet, sour, floral are some of the different aromas that Cointreau has, besides being a liquor power other when mixed. Has a lingering taste that gives freshness to the palate with the mixture of different notes nuanced where the highlight is the orange.
