An excellent Irish whiskey Midleton Distillery. In 1966 the company joined John Jameson and John Powers to form the Irish Distillers Group and a new distillery in Midleton was built to produce all its brands. This new distillery now has a capacity of 60 million liters of production, after a major expansion in 2013. Very different from the 1997 version: this vintage 1998 was aged in bourbon barrels. Either nose or mouth, sherry is the first to make an appearance and stays until the end. There were only 588 bottles of this premium Irish whiskey.
