The Tomatin distillery is one of the highest in Scotland, located in the Monadhl Tiah mountains, in 1985 the distillery underwent a remodeling and expansion, it even had a name change.
Tomatin Legacy is the company's most basic whiskey, this single malt is made from whiskey aged in ex-Bourbon casks and virgin oak barrels, the use of virgin oak is something very original in terms of the production of Scottish products, that's why this whiskey is different.
A whiskey that has a pleasant aroma of wood and apples along with sweet notes of meringue and vanilla, in the mouth subtle nuances are perceived with a very light dry and fresh sensation, its aftertaste is of short duration leaving a pleasant freshness that for some is interesting.
