The history of Grand Marnier Yellow Cord dates back to 1827 when Jean-Baptiste Lapostolle founded a distillery in Neauphle-le-Château in France which is responsible for the production of fruit liqueurs.
This orange liqueur-based French cognac is achieved after a slow maceration followed by distillation where the skin of bitter oranges and candy is flavored with liquor that is provided carefully with cognac and sugar syrup giving as a result this unique and inimitable world famous liquor.
Light in color with a very pale hue, this liqueur comes clean and fresh with a strong smell of oranges, somewhat syrupy mouth where that orange juice is perceived freshly squeezed accompanied by a subtle hint of spice.
