Zubrowka is a vodka of Polish origin flavored with bison grass that is distilled from rye.
This super Premium vodka is distilled in a distillery located in the Bialowieza Forest, a nature reserve located in one of Europe's virgin forests. This vodka has a very characteristic flavor achieved thanks to one of its main ingredients, bison grass.
Zubrowka contains a leaf of the grass itself in each bottle, which is why the liquor has that particular flavor , aroma and color so yellowish, it is also known that this drink has aphrodisiac and virility properties.

El Zubrovka se produce desde al menos el siglo XVI en la Mancomunidad de Polonia y Lituania , en la región de la frontera polaco - bielorrusa contemporánea . En el siglo XVIII era una de las bebidas crudas favoritas de la nobleza ( szlachta ) y el campesinado por igual.
En el siglo XIX, el famoso fabricante de brandy con base en Odessa, Shustov, comenzó a producir zubrovka.
