Description
Etsu Double Orange gin is distilled at the Akita distillery on the island of Honshu.
The Akita factory is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan and stretches from the Sea to the mountains Ou, the longest mountain range in Japan. It is from these mountains that Etsu takes its fresh and light aromas. Etsu Double Orange Gin is macerated for seven days with traditional botanicals including Japanese bitter orange peel, juniper berries, licorice root, angelica, and coriander.
After maceration, the gin is distilled without the botanicals, which allows the infusion of the oils. After the distillation process, fresh water from the mountain spring is added, which gives this gin its fresh taste.
