Pain Killer is one of the last family brewery beers Silly has brought to the market. Silly company has been operating since 1850, when in a small town near Brussels, Marcelin Hypolite Mynbrughen founded his own brewery whose name was Cense de la Tour.
Currently the brewery is still owned by the family, which is directed by Lionel and Bertrand Van der Haegen cousins. Thanks to the popularity of Belgian beers the company has grown exponentially in both sales and production.
The Pain Killer is a white Belgian beer brewed from malt, wheat, hops Hallertau, orange peel, coriander, water, yeast and grapefruit juice. A beer a bit murky because of the lack of filtration before bottling, Pain Killer is presented as a white beer fruity pink posse aromas of citrus, especially a pink grapefruit, sweet and heráceos, its taste is fresh, soft and fruity where the grapefruit has a lot of presence with the personal touch of this bitter fruit.
