Mongozo has its origins in 1993, when Henrique Kabia came to the Netherlands as a refugee, his only possession was a recipe that because she could lay the foundation for a range of exotic beers. In 1998, Henrique joined Jan Fleurkens and they could sell beer palm kernel.
In 2005, Mongozo brought to market a new beer, Mongozo Coconut, a beer with Fairtrade certificate which is made from Buckwheat White with a very special added, that of the coconut.
One beer coconut white with a very creamy foam layer both on the nose and mouth predominates essence coconut, a beer rich perfect to accompany exotic dishes.
