This whiskey is made from a mixture of whiskeys selected minutely by the master mixer, John Ramsay, with the aim of obtaining a scotch the same quality as whiskeys add. Glenrothes Select Reserve is distilled in copper stills high vatted that has matured for two decades in a combination of Spanish barrels and American oak that have previously been seasoned with sherry and whiskey.
Its aroma is warm with notes of creamy oak, sweet spices and fruit liqueur, its flavor is extremely smooth which highlights orange peel and vanilla.
