The Bowmore distillery was founded by David Simson in 1779, this distillery is one of the oldest in the island besides having the wine maturing Scotch whiskey Scotland's oldest.

Among its various whiskeys, is the Bowmore Black Rock, this Scottish whiskey is part of the series of single malt that the brand has in the market. Is used for processing and malted barley grown on Islay, Its maturation takes place in oak barrels Spanish ex-Jerez.

As a result of this process a whiskey with smoky aroma that blends with notes of cocoa beans, burnt orange, raisins and pepper, you get the flavor is balanced with notes of caramel, vanilla, orange and subtle hints of cinnamon.
