1890 was the year I was born Flor de Caña rum sugar factories in San Antonio in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua, but it was not until 1937 that the company Decanter Nicaragua began commercial production of this rum.
All Flor rums de Caña go through an aging process which term is Slow-Aged, this means that all rums go through a natural process and uninterrupted aging which ensures that no flavor is not incorporated nor aroma excessively to the product. In the case of Flor de Caña 4 Years White, aging takes place in new barrels of American white oak for at the least four years.
A white rum very smooth and perfect light body to combine with natural juices, mineral water, tonic or soft drinks.
