It is a product made by hand from tuna in the form of pieces and cooked with other ingredients such as onion, olive oil, salt and spices.
The jar of tuna with onions is prepared to consume directly, without the need to cook. Once purchased, it is presented to the customer packaged in hermetically sealed glass jars and subjected to a sterilization process that gives it a long shelf life, thus remaining free of all kinds of germs.
Once opened, the jar of tuna with onions should be kept cold at a temperature between 0º and 4ºC, although its best before date with the unopened product is 5 years after its production date.
In short, a classic Andalusian cuisine, but preserved.
