Isle Of Jura 22 years 70 cl Scotch whiskey is produced on the island of Jura found on the west coast of Scotland. A single malt 22 Casks finished in Pinot Noir. This was produced exclusively as a small batch to dismiss Willie Cochrane, the manager of the distillery after 39 years of service as Limited ""One for the Road"" edition.
The Jura whiskey is quite unique and totally different from its neighbors in Islay. Has the characteristic flavors of brine, pine, cereals and fudge.
The overall impression is of a soft, accessible and easy to drink whiskey. Quite the opposite of some of the most challenging Islay whiskeys.
