Isle Of Jura Prophecy 70cl whiskey is produced by the only producer of this type of drink on the small island of Jura.
Its aroma is quite strong and smoky on the nose. Anise notes, very few fruits, light sweetness and a marine algae smell of salty accompany peat. Smoked persists in the mouth. Shows a soft acidity and flavors of nutmeg, fresh sea spray, citrus fruits, cinnamon and cardamom.
The power of 46% alcohol by volume is obvious and makes this whiskey island is the strongest of the Jura range of products so far. The finish is long and dry reveals hints of smoke and herbs. Some candy and vanilla join the union of flavors with some delay.
