Copperhead is a brand of gin created by Yvan Vindevogel, a pharmacist and entrepreneur, who discovered the powerful union between gin and his profession. Thanks to an article in a newspaper where the history of gin was discussed in ancient and medicinal terms, Yvan devised a mixture where different flavors and herbs were mixed with gin to see the result in people, thus creating Copperhead gin.
Copperhead Original was created when all the competitors were creating a Western Dry type gin and thanks to their efforts this London Dry was able to reach what it is today. After several months trying different options to create the ultimate gin, the perfect balance was found with only five ingredients, which are juniper, coriander seeds, angelica, cardamom and finally orange peel.
