Industrias Pampero is a distillery founded by Alejandro Hernandez, son of a fisherman from the island of Margarita, which sets the standards for rum production in Venezuela.

Thanks to Pampero rum and other brands, Venezuela has become one of the ten largest producers and exporters of rum in the world.

Currently, Industrias Pampero part of Diageo, the largest holding of alcoholic beverages in the world, even before joining this group for a few years belonged to United Distillers.

Pampero Special Añejo is the first Venezuelan rum listed as stale, being compiled from a strict selection of local sugar cane that is processed to obtain molasses, once obtained rum which is is made distilled three times then kept in oak barrels that have contained brandy.

A rum that gives off a rich aroma which smells of fruit along mixed with delicate hints of caramel and honey in the mouth has a subtle and creamy entrance where the flavors of wood, honey, caramel and spices are displayed .
