The cultivation of apples in jars comes from the roots of the Drouin family. When the apples reach their ripe point, they are washed and filled with calvados, forming a fruity essence that flows in harmony with the brandy. In this way, the Calvados Christian Drouin Pomme Prisonniére 70cl is created, the fruitiest of all Calvados.

It is a limited edition French distillate of 40% alcohol that is produced only once a year, it has an orange color with copper reflections. Its aroma gives off the smell of fresh oak, vanilla and soft spices. On the palate it has a light and charming impact that is very deep. Culminating with a fairly strong and aromatic taste, giving this drink an excellent personality.

Each year, the Alleaume family, a family of Gonneville-sur-Honfleur arborists, places several thousand jugs on the trees. Four and five months later, the jugs whose apples
have reached maturity are picked and subsequently washed and filled with calvados by the Drouin family. The aromas of fruit blend perfectly with those of the brandy and give rise to the
fruitiest of Calvados
