The Antiquary 12 Years is one of the malt whiskeys oldest and most renowned in the world, its production has been carrying out since the fifteenth century illegally by the landlord who at that time owned the land, and in 1897 the whiskey production was licensed and could be produced legally.
J & W Hardie is the distillery in charge of producing this whiskey distillery that has its origins in the preparation of tea and wine and thanks to the production of whiskey blended The Antiquary has become one of the factories that produce one of the most renowned whiskeys of the world.
A mixture of malt and grain which prevails in a majority malt whiskey from distilleries Speyside and Highland that have been matured in oak barrels for at the least 12 years, a process that contributes to the end result in a unique softness .
