Augustus Chardonnay is a white wine produced by Cellers Augustus Forum, a winery that is located in Tarragona very close to the Mediterranean sea in Pla de Mar, a place where you can find remains of the Via Augusta.
A wine made 100% by Chardonnay having a process which is divided into two parts, the first makes the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels of first and second use which is then raised in barrels with lees, on the other hand, the other hand, grows and ferments the lees in stainless steel tanks at low temperature.
A great white wine O.D. Penedès that has an intense aroma of citrus and white fruit with herbaceous touches in the mouth has a powerful and fresh entrance with citrus and toasted sensations ending in a rounded end.

Cuando plantamos las primeras viñas durante los años 80, escogimos un lugar único por su terroir, a tan sólo 3km del Mar Mediterráneo. Unas viñas con mucha historia, ya que entre ellas se encuentran los vestigios de lo que en su día fue la Via Augusta, la vía romana que conectaba Roma con las ciudades más importantes de la Mediterránea. Es por eso que hemos querido rendir homenaje a tan singular vía romana, otorgando a nuestra bodega y a nuestros productos los nombres de Avgvstvs y Forvm.
