The Avelino Vegas Winery is a family business founded by Avelino Vegas in 1950, located in the town of Santiuste de San Juan Bautista (Segovia).
Its beginnings were making wines with grapes from the area, among which is the Tempranillo. Among its wines, there is the red crianza wine Fuentespina Crianza, a wine made from 100% Tempranillo that is macerated for 72 hours at 12ºC, thus obtaining its greatest aromatic potential. After fermentation, it is macerated for another 20 days to thus obtain a adequate structure to pass the wine to aging. Finally, it is aged for 12 months in American oak barrels.
A red wine with violet reflections that becomes very expressive on the nose, where notes of red and black fruits mixed with vanilla, roasted, stand out. and milk, its flavor is intense, pleasant and very smooth.
