Description

A tribute to the colors and history of the Day of the Dead, Clase Azul Tequila Día de Muertos Limited Edition Colors is the second installment in a series of five limited editions called Nuestro
Recuerdos. The aging process for this aged tequila began in American whiskey barrels and ended in artisanal rum barrels from the island of Martinique.

For this limited edition añejo tequila, Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco has orchestrated a unique 28-month maturation process: 22 months of aging in American whiskey barrels
followed by a finish of 6 months in artisanal rum barrels from the island of Martinique. The Mexican tradition of sugar skulls inspired not only the decoration of this limited-edition decanter, but also the creation of its tequila.
The rich aromas of the aforementioned rum, called rhum agricole in French, they add to the character of the barrels after distillation and impart notes of crystallized orange peel, clove, walnut, and cocoa to the tequila.
