Amer Picon Biere is a French liqueur produced by Picon and his original recipe was created by Gaetan Picon in 1830 in Philippeville, Belgium.

This bitter liqueur is made with premium raw materials such as bitter orange peel, gentian or quinine. In the beginning this liquor was used as a tonic for the stomach and to whet your appetite, however, when first marketed in France, its success was overwhelming, even to create a new mix, where it was mixed with beer in order to bitterest get that point.
