Bodega Pago de Carraovejas has in its range of wines one of the best known of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, the Payment of Carraovejas Crianza. Located on the outskirts of Peñafiel, a town known for its Ribera del Duero wine tradition.
This Crianza is made from a blend of two varieties of grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tinto Fino. Its fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks and in French oak vats with native yeasts from the vineyard itself. It is aged for 12 months in new and semi-new fine-grain French and American oak barrels, finally it is clarified with natural egg whites and bottled by gravity to rest for another 12 months before being released.
Red wine with an intense aroma of ripe fruit, balsamic, dairy, toasted and spices that has an elegant and persistent flavor in the mouth that is very complex and delicate.
