Description
The common denominator of the farm is the limestone soil. In this harsh and impoverished land we find Monastrell from Casa Los Frailes, a vineyard from Valencia that fully respects the uniqueness of this variety of grapes with minimal intervention in the vineyard.
To do this, they make this wine from the area of 'La parada de tordos', as the monks did centuries ago, aging it in the basement of the establishment.
Monastrell is intense, young and succulent, more fruity than earthy.
The first taste in the mouth is fleshy, oily, then it is replaced by an ascetic taste, as if there is some dust in the wine, reminiscent of to chalk dust.
