This rum is aged for 5 years in its country of origin, in the tropical climate of the Caribbean.
Then it goes to Andalusia to the historic bottler Williams & Humbert for the blend and two more maturations: three years in "Dos Cortados" Palo Cortado barrels, a rare variety of sherry, which proves an age of 20 years, certified by the Designation of Origin Jerez-Xérès-Sherry.
The last two years finish their aging process in Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels.
The result is a sweet rum, rich in its multiple terroirs.
