Following the line of Jean Leon wines, we present the Jean Leon 3055 Merlot Petit Verdot. This red wine has a deep red color with bluish hues. It goes through an arduous maceration process to later start aging in oak barrels for 4 months. Its aroma denotes fine touches of ripe red fruit, toasted and spicy notes endowed by the barrel. On the palate it starts with a great impact, well impregnated with a refined spicy flavor. It culminates in a long and delicious taste in the mouth. Meats such as Iberian pork tenderloin, creamy cheeses and fish such as cod are excellent accompaniments. > Following the line of Jean Leon wines, we present the Jean Leon 3055 Merlot Petit Verdot. It is the youthful representation of the winery's most complex reds. Made mainly with the Petit Verdot variety, which we have been growing at Jean Leon since 2006 and with a great capacity to adapt to climate change, and a small percentage of Merlot, planted in our vineyards in 1997.
This wine stands out for its great freshness and elegance, as well as its violet notes, a spicy character and a long aftertaste. Picota cherry color with a medium-high layer. Black cherry, cloves, black pepper and aromatic Mediterranean herbs. Voluptuous attack, pleasant acidity and a long and persistent finish
