Description
On the nose, Castaño Monastrell Dulce shows great aromatic intensity and excellent expressiveness, as well as some hints of black fruit. On the palate it begins light, unctuous and sweet, with notes of figs, honey and nuts, along with hints of fruit with toasted tones. It transmits a great harmony between sweetness and acidity with light tannins. Forged from a meticulous selection of over-ripe grapes, from old Monastrell vines with an average age of 36 years. They are aged in American and French oak barrels for 8 months, giving rise to Castaño Monastrell Dulce. The wines of the Castaño family are recognized and respected in the southeast of Spain, in addition to having a beautiful and deep purple color.

Deep purple red with brick rim. Clean nose of medium intensity with notes of black candied fruit, raisins, carob and black olives. Fresh, tasty, with marked plum jam and a touch of dried fruit (fig). Pleasant finish with some acidity to balance its sweetness.
