The limestone and rocky soils are the natural setting for vineyards of rainfed Monastrell and Garnacha Tintorera, although they also grow foreign red varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot and, to a lesser extent, white varieties perfectly adapted to this environment, such as Macabeo and Chardonnay.
Monastrell is the main variety ink within our Designation of Origin Yecla, an ideal habitat to express all its intensity, color, body, structure and smoothness.
