The winery Viñas Vero along with other wineries were the driving forces behind the O.D. Somontano in 1985. In 1986, Viñas de Vero is born thanks to the purchase of 550 hectares in Barbastro. Since 1987, they replanted with native grape vineyards (Moristel, Grenache, Macabeo and Tempranillo)
VdV Collection Riesling is another sign of good adaptation of a Central European variety to soils and climates of the Somontano. White funny, cheerful, seductive, with aromas of white flowers and subtle mineral touches. A cool, spacious and silky profile, is able to accompany any aperitif and harmonize seafood at a banquet succulent.
The flagship wine of Viñas de Vero, made with a triple selection, the best vineyards (vineyards yield low: Blecua, Lazadiella, La Torre, Nava, Saso Ayerbe, La Torrecilla and Vallón Lasala), the best grapes, the best barrels .
The weather conditions of the vintage 2014 led to the creation of a wine with a high level of freshness, attractive textures and a considerable degree of fluency in the mouth. Its aromas reminiscent of the blossom of spring and summer fruits, and it is recommended to accompany both red meat as unutosos fish and cheeses and desserts.
Made from grapes Syrah, the "grande dame" of the French Rhone and according to some, the oldest cépage of humanity, the VdV Collection Syrah aged for ten months in French oak barrels. Like the other wines "Collection" range, it is produced from grapes of a single payment (payment "The Quarries" in this case).
Even as the little red Enate, this wine is balanced and estructuracomo enough to be elected at our table. Its 2010 vintage won the gold medal in the Grand Prix International Wine Mundus Vini held in Germany.
