At the end of the 19th century, Tarragona wines enjoyed recognized prestige in international trade.
In its cellar, liqueur wines were produced in the style of the 'great' wines of the time: Port, Jerez or Sauternes, among others.
In 1947, all these high-grade wines were the first to have regulations within the D.O. Tarragona and are known by the name 'Tarragona Clásico'.
An intense and pungent aroma is appreciated in the glass.
The aromas arising from prolonged aging stand out: dried figs, toasted hazelnuts and green walnuts.
Elegant, warm and very liqueur entry on the palate. Flavors of licorice and medicinal herbs appear, which are enveloped with sweet notes and a bitter point.
