Description
Masahiro gin is the first to come out of the Japanese tropical island of Okinawa. The distillery's expertise lies in Awamori, the traditional Okinawan spirit, making this gin a new endeavor for the distillery.
Botanicals included include hibiscus roselle flowers, guava and Balinese long pepper, but the most interesting addition is goya, Okinawan's green bitter melon.
The gin is also distilled in stills, as opposed to more traditional columns. At 47% , it is full of floral flavors, tropical fruits and green notes of bitter melon.
A succulent recipe that you cannot miss. Handmade in Japan.
