Description
Bodegas Terras Gauda is not only dedicated to producing wines, but also researches to optimize the yield of the grape and improve its quality.
This winery was the first to make a wine using mostly Caíño Blanco grape, almost disappeared.
Tetras Gauda is a wine of great flavor and aromatic complexity. The combination of the three varieties opens up a very wide and diverse aromatic range; Thus, we can appreciate clear aromas of ripe peach, tangerine and orange peel supported by delicate earthy, mineral, floral memories and subtle creamy and minty notes.
As a first impression on the palate, its great character and opulence stand out, it is a full and fleshy wine, which fills our mouth with its volume but at the same time it is fresh, youthful and very lively. It has a pleasant, intense and long finish, perceiving aromas in the mouth brimming with mineral sensations and ripe fruit. This wine provides us with two apparently contradictory characteristics: it is a complex wine but easy to drink.
The Albariño and Caíño come from plots with lower altitudes, that is, with higher humidity and warmer, which means an earlier harvest and therefore higher concentration, lower acidity and more body in the wines. wines. This Albariño is the one that is harvested earlier, between September 13 and 18, and the Caíño is the last variety to be harvested, between September 21 and 25, being the latest.
The Loureiro comes from our vineyards of higher altitude and lower humidity, cooler, causing a slower maturation which gives us a lively Loureiro with intense aromas and softness on the palate. Harvested on September 19 and 20.
