101 was made to show how refined this whiskey is when dosed a little more boldly. The delicious bourbon flavor from the front of the tongue is still there thanks to the soft red winter wheat. It's just richer and more intense at higher proof. The barrels in which it ages are first-fill American Bourbon oak. Very award winning. The last award received is the Silver Medal and the Best of its class distinction at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in its 2008 edition. We recommend drinking it neat or with a little cold water.
