Most of Johnny Neill's inspiration comes from his family's courageous foreign travels. Whitley Neill Strawberry and Black Pepper Gin is influenced by fond memories dating back to a time when Johnny and his family grew strawberries in their garden in Rockbeare, Devon. That's when they discovered that a pinch of black pepper, along with juniper, cassia and coriander allow the sweetness of the strawberry to contrast with the inherent personality of the botanicals.
