The house Moët Chandon is located, for more than two centuries, in the heart of the Champagne. With the mountain of Reims in front and the Valley of the Marnes to the west strives, since then, to promote this unique land in which it owns about 800 hectares of vińedos cultivated and maintained by 250 winemakers. A single hectare requires more than 750 hours of meticulous care to create exceptional wines. Under the influence of Moët & Chandon, the vineyard of Champagne, it has since 1927 a Denomination of Origin, which became one of the first DOC in 1935. In addition, in order to ensure a selection of varieties as wide as possible with which to reflect the nuances of the soil and climate of the Champagne region, Moët & Chandon purchase grapes to other winemakers. The three strains of Champagne, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay are always present, with their complementarities and synergies.
