Description
The origin of Innis & Gunn Original is quite curious, his birth was in 2003 when a distiller contacted the brewmaster, Dougal Gunn to elaborate a whiskey that had a point ale.
One idea already raised earlier but did not get good results, Dougal invented a new recipe for the obtained whiskey a touch softer, however during this process where beer was used in the barrels, was thrown without any use .
Until one day workers tried it and found a beer with a great taste that is matured for 77 days, 30 American oak barrels and 47 kegs to obtain a beer aroma attractive with a taste somewhat peculiar .
