This beer was produced in 1988 at the request of a father for his daughter's wedding and is currently exported to several countries in the world, is also known to present in its various labels drawings based on characters inspired by myths and legends of the famous forest of Wychwood.

La cervecería está situada en el antiguo Eagle Maltings, construido en 1841 para cebada de malta para la fábrica de cerveza de Clinch , que tenía una finca de setenta y un pubs en el sur de Inglaterra . En 1961, Courage compró Clinch's para su establecimiento de bares y cerró la cervecería.
