Deanston 12 Years Un-Chill Filtered 70 cl is a pleasant surprise from the nose to the palate. It begins with a subtle sweetness of malted barley, grainy, rich, golden. Ripe fruit coated caramelized vanilla that accumulates on the back.
It develops quickly a once deployed, explodes with spices, itching, ripe fruit, apple peel, pear, banana notes and the illusion of sweetness. Sweet feel the first few seconds, but then vanishes in the dry, change of context, but becomes aggravated round. the combination of vanilla and caramel is refreshing, while spices pour liquid fire.
The long finish and beautifully balanced reminds me of a hot summer day, golden apples and a cold beer.
