Glen Garioch 12 Years 1L whiskey is matured in sherry casks Spanish and American bourbon. These barrels provide a strong, deep flavor and a final soft malting.
In the aroma of the honey-colored single malt has a high score as fresh heather and other floral notes combine, so it also acts as a sensual perfume. Nose facets of ripe, juicy pears and sweet malt notes are appreciated.
You can also find some sweet plantains almost too mature, refined with a little creme brulee and covered with oak. The end is infinitely long, soft and fragrant.
