Isle Of Jura 16 Years 70 cl Diurachs is a drink with a taste incredibly strong, that slowly matures 14 years in American white oak barrels and 2 years in Oloroso sherry casks Amoroso.
Prolonged exposure creates the diversity of flavors and aromatic nuances, most of them (apples, caramel cream, black chocolate, oranges, apples honey and spices) recall the Christmas treats. The aftertaste is sweet. Its aroma is rich bodied with hints of citrus and toffee.
The whiskey is perfect as a digestive, can be used with fruit. A good mix of whiskey will lamb with apricots, nuts and fruit crumble, danlopskomu Cheddar or Swiss chocolate.
