The history of Aberlour Distillery dates back to 1879 when the year James Fleming founded Aberlour Distillery. The location of the distillery was chosen for its excellent supply of pure spring water and its entrenched old. A very special place, located in the region of Speyside, which uses natural resources to offer one of the best single malt.
Aberlour 10 Years, is a single malt exported in more than fifty countries have an aging process of at least ten years using a combination of sherry casks and ex-bourbon.
This result provides a Scotch whiskey golden color that has a fresh aroma and fruity with small touches of vanilla and caramel that once you try it you discover that creamy and balanced taste very well integrated alcohol that ends with a durable, tasty aftertaste.

Aberlour está particularmente influenciada por su fuente de agua, que fluye a partir de Ben Rinnes, a través del sustrato de turba y granito del valle Lour llegando hasta la destilería. Recoge escasos depósitos minerales a lo largo de su recorrido, lo que resulta en un agua naturalmente suave.
