Isle of Jura distillery is located on the island of Jura, to the west of Scotland, the only legal distillery on the island. Jura is an island full of wildlife with beautiful natural landscapes full of life.
Thanks to Robin Fletcher and Tony Riley-Smith distillery was rebuilt and to thus create a variety of whiskeys range which include their upbringing and style, creating a range of malt whiskeys with a very distinct personality.
Isle Of Jura 16 Years is one of them, a single malt matured for 14 years in new American oak barrels of bourbon and ex-two years in Oloroso Sherry casks. A whiskey that offers a sweet aroma with a pleasant citrus point palate shows a taste spiced with citrus and earthy notes ending in a long finish and dry where the presence of oak.
