While the name of this whiskey may sound a little strange to be a whiskey, this represents a global collaboration. It is a release of Shinsu, one of the newer and lesser known distilleries in Japan, and includes not only Japanese whiskey, whiskey but an unknown Scottish distillery. Shinsu was founded in 1985 but remained dormant for many years until it started producing whiskey again in 2011. The distillery is located in the Japanese Alps, and the name ""Cosmo"" is shared with one of the nearby mountains.
