Mackmyra was born when a group of students from Stockholm realized the little tradition of making whiskey in Sweden, although the climate and conditions of the country were conducive to the production of these distillates. Thus was born the Mackmyra whiskey distillery in 1999.
Currently, the Mackmyra brand is highly regarded among professionals and is characterized by the development of whiskeys of the highest quality.
The Swedish peat whiskey Mackmyra Svensk Rok has smoked nuances commonly known as ""Swedish smoke"", a characteristic expression of the Mackmyra brand name given to these whiskeys. It has exquisite smoky nuances and vainillados that give a unique and exquisite taste.
