Established in 2005, Kilchoman Machir Bay 70 cl is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland. Based on a farm on the rugged west coast of Islay, is the first Kilchoman distillery to be built on the island in 125 years.
Matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and sherry, Kilchoman Machir Bay 70 cl is a well balanced combination of tropical fruit rich peat smoke, vanilla light and intense sweetness.
The rich, dense and complex flavor whiskey captured the tone of sherry and oak, black pepper, apple peel, cocoa butter, anise, peat smoke and toffee. The finish is long and spicy with notes of iodine and blackcurrant.
