Description

In 1583, the Spanish Armada skirted Scotland. Legend has it that one of the Spanish ships sank in the Bay of Thain (now Bay Dornoch), not far from the distillery. Some of the surviving sailors decided to stay forever in Scotland.

The Glenmorangie Whiskey 1L Tayne was created with the thought of these sailors and sunken ship. The exhibition in sherry casks gave subtle ""Spanish"" nuances, unfolding with an unusual floral aroma and flavor with hints of ripe fruits of the south.

It has a warm and oily texture, with rich tones and sweet caramel, brown sugar, tropical fruits and nuts of Brazil.

Excellent as a digestive own consumption in the glass is recommended to add ice cubes.

La Destilería

Glenmorangie Distillery
