The story of Ocumare rum has its beginnings in Quinta Crespo, Caracas in 1938, but it was not until 1950 when the company moved to La Hacienda La Guadeloupe, in Ocumare of the Tuy. In this new location the company installed large warehouses and modern alembic.
Here is where the rum ocumare Reservada Edition, a rum created from a blend of rums up to 12 years of aging in oak barrels is made. Venezuelan rum very characteristic reddish color that stands out for its Venezuelan tradition.
A balanced aroma which highlights the presence of wood and nuances of vanilla, chocolate and coffee, also highlights the aroma of cinnamon followed by subtle fruity notes. Its flavor is slightly nutty where the first impression offers elegant and balanced sweetness reminiscent of candy.
